What to do before we get there.

The same steps we give on the phone. Call (786) 756-3185 if water is on the floor. $95 to come look — waived if you hire us.

Why these guides exist

Most plumbing emergencies get worse in the first fifteen minutes, and a few simple steps (finding the main shutoff, turning off the water heater, clearing access) can save a floor, a cabinet or a ceiling. These guides walk you through those steps in plain language. They are not a substitute for a licensed plumber; when in doubt, shut the water off and call.

Before the plumber arrives

Know where your main shutoff is (usually near the meter at the front of the property, or where the line enters the house) and keep the area around the water heater, the sinks and any cleanouts clear so we can get straight to work. Take a quick photo of any leak, stain or error code, and note when the problem started and whether it is getting worse. If water is actively spreading, shut off the main first, then call; we answer 24/7 for bursts and overflows.
